Today we have an exciting program. We're going to read some Bible Believers' News, listen to a little music, and share a slice of a great sermon called 'Birth Pains' by Brother Branham.
* Let's commence with some Bible Believers' News.
One of our infrequent correspondents is Jonathan Gray of Adelaide. Jonathan is an adventurer, and together with colleagues from other countries, he's dedicated himself to discovering ancient secrets from Bible times. When not engaged in exploration and research, he's busy conducting seminars, writing books, or editing video film of their spectacular discoveries.
One video covers the search for Noah's grave; advanced technology that vanished with the ancients, and investigations into evidence that may be Noah's ark. A second film shows the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah. Tourists may visit the sites and handle balls of sulphur God sent to destroy them. I've seen film, and personally handled a ball of this brimstone. this film also covers the discovery of the real Mount Sinai that is in Arabia as Scripture says, NOT in the Sinai Penninsula where the map in your Bible mistakenly relocates it. Here, God met with Moses and delivered the Ten Commandments. And here Aaron made the golden calf.
In his current newsletter, Jonathan claims to have film of the actual altar at the base of this mountain, showing Egyptian-style carvings of cows and bulls. He also claims to have located an area around the mountain that has been blackened as if by fire, and the split rock which provided water for the Israelites, their flocks and herds at Rephidim.
How would you like to live such an exciting life? Flying over the Saudi desert in a helicopter; diving under the red sea to find the correct crossing of the Israelites - and the chariots of Pharaoh's army; finding Solomon's column that commemorated Moses' crossing of the Red Sea, and showing that discovery to the Arabs.
Another time he may be exploring in the Andes, or investigating a pyramid in China higher than the Empire State Building, and many times larger than the Great Pyramid at Giza, or searching river gravels in rural Australia for GIANT human footprints, and immense stone artifacts.
I wonder if Jonathan needs an apprentice to help carry his bags?
But seriously, although these discoveries are interesting, they're no more than that. If his prime object is to prove the bible true; to whom and for what purpose? So what if we find Noah's grave and the ark and prove all these things existed? It's only the evidence of past history. Proving the Messages of ages past. UNBELIEVERS will NOT believe It anyway. And BELIEVERS can NOT be born again by PAST history. They MUST receive the PRESENT Truth or they CAN'T be part of what GOD is doing in the PRESENT.
The PROOF of Scripture is the new birth. One can ONLY be reborn by receiving the Word for HIS day. His OWN life IS the vindication of God's Word.

Now we'll listen to an excerpt from a wonderful sermon preached in 1965 by William Branham. Brother Branham was the Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, whose ministry RESTORED the apostolic faith, 'FINISHED the mystery of God', and is NOW calling-out Christ's Bride to PREPARE Her for the manifestation of the sons of God, and the translation. Jesus promised THIS ministry for the generation just BEFORE the 'great and dreadful day of the Lord'.
Jesus said that the FALSE church is an IMPERSONATION of the True. If you've read Christ's Messages to the ANGELS of each Church Age, you'll have noticed that in EVERY Age, He actually addresses TWO churches. ONE is the Church He calls His Own. Precious, sinless, a virgin to the Word and faithful unto death. The OTHER is the FALSE church, called an harlot because she CLAIMS she is married to the Word but is UNFAITHFUL to the Word by FORNICATION with creeds.
Throughout the Bible we find the Law of Contrast in such TWINS. In the garden of Eden was the Tree of LIFE and His enemy, the Tree of KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil. There was RIGHTEOUS Abel and SINFUL Cain. In the Ark were the dove and the crow. Jacob and Esau were blood brothers; and Jesus and Judas were brothers in the church.
On the Day of Pentecost, the Spirit of Christ anointed HIS Church, and the spirit of anti-Christ returned to anoint HIS great church. One small and humble, with NO beauty that we should desire it. The other immense, and with mighty programs to educate, house and care for people's NATURAL requirements from the cradle to the grave. It has costly buildings, controls stocks, shares and immense material wealth. One is built by faith or understanding of the Word, and runs by the power of God. The other is built upon intellectual reasoning, and functions by organization led by man. Twins!
Like Abel and Cain in the beginning, and Jesus and Judas, BOTH of these groups claim God is their Father. BOTH worship the same God, sing hymns, read their Bibles, pay their tithes and love God. They BOTH speak with tongues, lay hands on the sick, and receive answer to prayer, but ONLY ONE of them is heaven-bound. The OTHER is hell bent and going to the Judgment. Watch those TWINS!
In THIS sermon, Brother Branham shows how God has been SEPERATING His elect - bringing the corporate Body of the elect Church of ALL ages to the birth through the REFORMATION of the past 500 years, and the RESTORATION in these LAST days. God is a SEPARATER, and He is calling His people OUT from ALL man-made teaching into oneness with the Word for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation. Oh, the TRUE Church will be FEW in number, but what She SAYS, in THAT day, He will DO.
The FALSE church will UNITE itself to RULE the world AGAIN, as Jesus and Daniel prophesied. She'll KILL everything that disagrees with her. They'll TAKE the mark of the beast or lose all property, rights and privileges. It's ALMOST reached that stage now.
Don't think this coming NWO is 'GOOD'. Or because the CHURCH will be ruling, that it's 'OF GOD'. The NWO is NOT of God. Jesus said, 'My Kingdom is NOT of this world, otherwise My servants would fight for righteousness'. No way, My Brother or Sister. We seek a City whose Builder and Maker is God. Wherein dwelleth righteousness. We don't build anything: Jesus has gone away to prepare a place for us.
That City comes down from God out of heaven in the Millennium. That's when Jesus Christ and His true Church rule this earth. The false church is preparing for nothing but sorrow, Satan's Eden and Armageddon.
