Look and Live

Isaiah 45:22 says, 'Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I've sworn by Myself, the Word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, "That unto Me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear".'

"Look unto Me, all the ends of the world" - that's been the call for years. Scripture says, "ends of the earth (plural)". I'd like to turn that around a little, and say, "Look especially unto Me at the end of each world system." Because God always makes Himself known at the end of a world system.

Many say, "We've heard this, 'Look unto Me' for many years". But what do you see when you look?

God's saying, "Look unto Me. I am God, and there is none other."

In a time of lawlessness, of murder, pederasty, homosexuality, rape, destruction of our democracy, national genocide, asset-stripping of the national wealth, and apostasy in the church, what can we look to that would be more solid than God? And God is the Word. So look to the Word of God, today, for your answer. The Bible has the answer for this day. It's had it for other days. It's got it forever, because It's Christ: the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

The Bible has the answer, because It is the revelation of Jesus Christ being revealed since the foundation of the world. He's been revealed in the form of prophets, in the form of kings. He's been revealed in the form of Law-givers, because that's what He IS: Prophet, King, Law-Giver, and God.

Now, He said, "Look unto Me."

You say, "I've done that." But what you're looking for, and where, determines what you'll see.

Some go to church just to show what clothes they're wearing. Some go to a church because, "This is the biggest church in town; it's got the best name; a certain class of people attend that church." That's wrong. See? God said, "Look unto Me."

Many people go to the services just to be seen. Sometimes they go to services with their mind made up that if something is said against their ideas, they'll get right up and walk out.

That's the very reason Jesus was misunderstood when He came to the earth. If they'd only looked into the Word of God, instead of the traditions of that day, they'd have known He was the Son of God. Because the Bible plainly declared His coming, and He was the full revelation of the Word.

And each generation reveals him in the full measure that's allotted for that time.

This generation must reveal Jesus Christ. The revelation promised in the Word, must be revealed to this generation. If the churches won't receive It, somebody will. "God's able of these stones to raise children to Abraham". He's able to perform all He promised. Abraham realized that, and against hope he believed in hope and staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong, giving praise to God, because God made him the promise."

He's made us a promise for this day. And our promise today is just as sure to be revealed as was Abraham's. "Being dead in Christ, we are Abraham's Seed, and heirs with Him according to the promise." We're the children of Abraham,

He promised to take His Church home for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the sky in this day. He promised a prophet to the Gentiles in this day, revealing Jesus Christ the same, by 'discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart', as it was in the days of Lot. What are you looking for in THIS day?

Many people wait just a few moments until something is said that they don't agree with, then up and out. They won't stay to hear any more. They won't stay to see what the truth of it is.

When Paul was speaking they listened so long as he stayed with the Law. When he began to share the revelation, the Heavenly vision, they rose up, screaming. If they'd just listened to what the man said - he was revealing the truth of God, by the Word.

If one Word disagrees with some petty thing they believe in, they can't stay and hear it through. That's the reason they couldn't believe Jesus Christ at his first advent. And the reason they'll miss Him in the second.

They miss Him each time. They always have. Yet He revealed Himself in Moses, Noah, Elijah, and all the prophets. Jesus said, "Which one of your fathers hasn't put the prophets in the tombs out there that they're garnishing now?" It's true yet today.

Look at the churches dedicated to saint this, or saint that; to Luther, Wesley, or Branham, all garnished-up, and the people don't begin to look like living the life of these great men, whose names they invoke. And in the midst of all this, we're commanded to, "Look at Him, all the ends of the world."

Sometimes, if you don't wear ministerial clothes, then that's out. Sometimes they want to see what kind of an education you have, how you enunciate, use your nouns and pronouns, or stand correctly.

Frankly, I forgot that a long time ago. I just know one thing, and that's Jesus Christ in the power of His resurrection, that's all I have to express. I think that's why you've tuned to this program, to know him; not know nouns and pronouns, but to know him, Jesus Christ, in the power of His resurrection.

Now, some people, when they look to Jesus, they see in Him only a church founder, a church organizer, or maybe a creed for a church. That's what many people look to Jesus to see, a new creed that was added to an old doctrine.

Some look and see Him as a myth, like Santa Claus. Or a historical act of God many years ago. Not seeing the I am in the PRESENT Truth, they still see Him as a baby in a manger, the I was.

But, the question is, what do you see when you look at Him? Do you see the second person of a Trinity, or do you see a Trinity, three in One? Six of one and half a dozen of the other? You'll only see Him as you look at Him through the Word. That's the only way you'll know Him, because He is the Word. It'll reveal Himself.

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking to Him to argue, then you're looking wrong. He didn't argue. Remember, you see Him as you look at Him through His Word. Now you can't see Him until your eyes are opened to that fact. Two men can look at the same Scripture and disagree; only one of them can be right, and the other must be wrong. Only one can have the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes things happen around us that we can't understand; others can see things, others see nothing.

Do you remember when Elisha and Gehazi were surrounded by the army of the Syrians? Elisha smote them blind by the power of God. Yet their eyes were wide open and they could see where they were going. The blindness was peculiar in that they could see certain things, but certain other things such as Elisha, and the servant and the camp of Israel, they could not see. What this army could see did not avail for them. What they did not see brought on their captivity.

You see, when Elisha looked, he saw something that Gehazi didn't see. So he prayed, "God, open this young man's eyes." Now, his eyes were wide open, but he said, "Open his eyes, that he might SEE." And when his eyes, were SPIRITUALLY, opened, the whole mountain was full of chariots of Fire and Angels - all around that prophet. See, it was different when his eyes came open.

Now, people look at the Word LITERALLY, and that's the way you're supposed to look at It, but It declares Itself both literally and spiritually. The Spirit makes the Word live the promise. The Word is a seed. The Spirit gives it Life like rain gives life to a seed buried in the ground. And when you see Jesus as the promised Word of this hour, it'll be revealed to you. If you look at Him, you'll see he's the same yesterday, today, and forever, the same Christ.

A portion of God's Word has been allotted to every generation, all the way from Genesis. God always sends someone. The clerics get It so mixed up until the people are bound by traditions, as it was at the Coming of Jesus. Then God sends a prophet. "The Word of God comes only to a prophet." Then he's rejected with His Message, put out, kicked out; stoned to death. After a while, they build his tomb, name a denomination or dedicate a church in his name and say "He was a great man". They live in the shadow of what he was back there, and refuse what the Word's doing now.

Just like man: he's always talking about how great God is and what He's done, what He's going to do, and not seeing what He's doing right now. See? He sees Him in history, looks at him in prophecy, but forgets He's doing the same right now as He did then. That's man's nature.

Notice the disciples, on the first Easter morning. What a morning! Jesus - up from the dead, walking among the flowers. Cleopas and one of his friends were on the road to Emmaus, talking, grieved in heart. And a Man stepped out of the bush, and walked with them the rest of the day, talking about Christ. At evening, He acted as if He was going to pass on, but they asked Him to come in. He did.

Although they'd been with Him all day long, they hadn't recognized Who He was. But when He did something the way He'd done before His crucifixion and resurrection, they recognized it was Him.

And it's possible today, for good men, fine men, to walk with Christ, reading His Word, and still not recognize that this is the hour that certain prophecies of the Bible must be fulfilled. The time is at hand when these things must be done. It's written, and it must be fulfilled, because God promised It. Yes, our eyes must be opened to see the Word.

The Pharisees had that Word wherein It was written exactly the way the Messiah was coming. They believed they were right. And here He was, walking right among them, yet they condemned Him when He told them, "You search the Scriptures, for in Them you think you have eternal Life, and they are they that testify of Me."

"Search the Scriptures."

They said, "We're Moses' disciples."

He said, "If you were Moses' disciples, you'd know Me, for Moses wrote of Me."

And He did. He said, "The Lord your God shall raise up a Prophet like unto me, a Law-giver, and Him shall the people hear."

Had they known Moses' writing, they'd have known Him. They thought they knew Moses' writing, but they didn't know it. They were blind to that fact.

Just a few words from Him, like that, and they said, "This Man has a devil. He wants to teach us? What school is He from? We have no record of Him. What's His fellowship card?"

But they failed to look and see that the very God Who promised the Word was vindicating it right there in the Person of Jesus Christ, for He was the Light of the hour. He was the Light for the people to walk in. And, only the Word of God produces Light. Only God's Word produces Light.

God's Word produces the sunshine. God's Word produces the earth. God's Word produces the air. Everything is the Word of God made manifest, everything that's got a reality to it.

What you're looking for determines what you'll see. Let's take some that looked.

As a young prophet, Isaiah had been leaning on the king's shoulder and Uzziah got all puffed up and was smitten with leprosy. Isaiah had to go to the temple and confess himself to be a sinner. And he saw the Cherubim coming forth, with two wings covering their faces, two covering their feet, and flying with two, crying, "Holy is the Lord God." When he caught a glimpse of Jesus Christ, here's what Isaiah saw. He never saw any just an ordinary man. He never saw a philosopher.

Most of our Protestant churches today, according to surveys, deny the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Some of them said, "He was a good man. We can find no fault in Him, but His Words can't be established or believed today."

Any belief that's established outside of the Word of God, leave it alone. Jesus said, "Every man's word will fail, but Mine will not. Heavens and earth will change, but My Word shall never change."

Therefore, any creed or any thing that's not built on this Word of God, all the Word of God: leave it alone. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word." Not just a Word here and a Word there, and put It together with something else; but "every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!" Every Word of the Bible! It's already together; just read It, believe It, live It, and God will honor It.

When Isaiah looked. He saw ONE, not THREE, but ONE Who was called, "Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, (that's the HOLY Spirit), The Everlasting FATHER, the Prince of Peace, (the SON)." One Person in three major OFFICES, or DISPENSATION claims. God above His people as the FATHER, God WITH His people in the days of His FLESH, and God IN His people TODAY.

When Daniel looked, he saw, "A Stone cut out of the mountain without hands. It rolled into the kingdoms of the world and broke them to pieces, and they blew away like the chaff on a summer thrashing floor. And the Stone grew into a great kingdom that covered all the earth." That's how He saw Jesus. Therefore, Jesus will rule the world, someday.

People are struggling today for a NWO. Each nation wants their language, their thoughts. Each denomination wants their group over the other. But there's coming One, and that will be Jesus Christ. He is the Ruler of the universe; none less than God Himself. All kingdoms will be destroyed before the Millennium. And we're closer to the Millennium than most people dare imagine.

One day, Nebuchadnezzar, had done an evil thing, he'd cast three believing children into the fiery furnace. When he opened the door to see how they were getting along, he saw the fourth Man inside the furnace. He said, "He looked like the Son of God." That's what he saw when he reviewed his own crime. There was One that looked like the Son of God.

And do you know Nebuchadnezzar types Russia today. God raised up Communism to destroy the false church as He raised Nebuchadnezzar to destroy the APOSTATE Jews. This world has no future but a fiery furnace called Armageddon. But God has sent us a prophet in these last days to reveal Jesus Christ, to RESTORE the apostolic faith, FINISH the mystery of God, and call His people OUT from all world systems.

Just remember to turn your eyes upon Jesus. When you look, don't expect to see a babe in the arms of a woman, or nailed to the cross. That was Jesus yesterday. Lift Him out of history, and focus on the PRESENT Truth. Search the Scripture, until you find what He promised for THIS day. What Jesus is doing NOW. Don't rest until your life is changed, and you can see that part of the Word manifesting through you. radio045.html
