Ban on Pledge of Allegiance Prophesied in 1964
William Branham, the prophet of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 prophesied in 1964:

They depend on their human intelligence, their human science, and so forth, left God out, whom he once trusted. The United States has left God out. They even turned Him out of school, for our little children can't even hear about Him. . . Now, they're trying to turn Him off the dollars, "In God We Trust." Ownership of the Federal Reserve
Most Americans, if they know anything at all about the Federal Reserve, believe it is an agency of the United States Government. This article charts the true nature of the "National Bank".

No Hiding Place
The US Government has 'ordered' scientists to produce a "bunker-busting" bomb that penetrates over 80 feet into the earth before its nuclear warhead is detonated. The bomb would be used against those in deep caves and bunkers. The nuclear warhead will have the power of 2,000 tons of high explosives, and it is nuclear. There is no longer any place to hide, not even in the rocks or dens of the earth. (The Herald Sun, March 20, 2002, Melbourne, Australia).
Pentagon Program for Psychopharmalogical Warfare
The Advantages and Limitations of Calmatives for Use as a Non-Lethal Technique, a 49 page report obtained last week by the Sunshine Project under US freedom of information law, has revealed a Pentagon program is researching psychopharmacological weapons. Based on "extensive review conducted on the medical literature and new developments in the pharmaceutical industry", the report concludes "the development and use of [psychopharmacological weapons] is achievable and desirable." These mind-altering weapons violate international agreements on chemical and biological warfare as well as human rights. Some of the techniques discussed in the report have already been used by the US in the "War on Terrorism".
The team, which is based at the Applied Research Laboratory of Pennsylvania State University, is assessing weaponization of a number of psychiatric and anesthetic pharmaceuticals as well as "club drugs" (such as the "date rape drug" GHB). According to the report, "the choice administration route, whether application to drinking water, topical administration to the skin, an aerosol spray inhalation route, or a drug filled rubber bullet, among others, will depend on the environment." The environments identified are specific military and civil situations, including "hungry refugees that are excited over the distribution of food", "a prison setting", an "agitated population" and "hostage situations". Witches Win Converts
Melbourne July 1, 2002 -- Witchcraft is the fastest-growing religion in Australia. Census figures show an increasing number of worshippers are looking towards the earth, rather than the heavens, in search of God.
There are now nearly 9,000 witches in Australia, up from fewer than 2,000 in 1996, while the number of pagans more than doubled to 10,632.
Comment: In 1998 the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission concluded that State and Territory laws prohibiting witchcraft and fortune-telling infringe the right to practise or manifest a religion or belief of choice and that those laws should be repealed as they infringe the right to manifest the beliefs of some pagans.

Malachi 3:13-4:6
In concluding our study of Malachi we will ignore the unnecessary fourth chapter division and continue reading as if the verses were not interrupted. Malachi's prophecy and its rebuke is addressed to Israel and encompasses the whole of Daniel's Seventy Weeks "from the going forth of the commandment to build and restore Jerusalem," the two-thousand years in which some of the natural branches were broken off the olive tree through unbelief and the wild, Gentile olive tree grafted in, until the natural branches are grafted back in to their own olive tree in the Seventieth Week following the close of the Gentile dispensation (Daniel 9:24-27; Romans 11).
In Isaiah 1:2-4, God said, "I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me. The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but not My people Israel. No matter what I do for them they do not care. What a sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they are gone away backward".
The Judeans returned from the Captivity to the ruins of Jerusalem under "great affliction and reproach" from the Samaritans (Nehemiah 1:3). Their wrong understandings of Isaiah and other prophets had led them to expect a glorious restoration yet Judea remained a province under the dominion of Persian governors. And although the Captivity had cured the returnees of idolatry, and produced some outward appearance of repentance as indicated by the tears which they shed at Ezra's exposition of the Law (Ezra 10:1), yet they were without the faith, and from the disappointment of their fond hopes they fell to murmuring against God, denying His justice and providential government. They relapsed into marrying Serpent's seed women, and we see in their state of mind and heart the germs of Sadduceeism and Phariseeism, which were full-blown by the time of our Lord.
Malachi proves God's elective love to Israel by explaining how His blessings to Abraham and Isaac belong to Jacob, but not Esau, hereby establishing the just foundation of the rebukes and exhortations in the following chapters and the chastisement of the "times of the Gentiles" which include the Seven Trumpet judgments, to correct and mold an election into the image of God's Word.
Israel, which means "a prince with power before God," is the name of God's people who overcome sin, self and the world by faith in His Word and prayer. Malachi outlines God's future dealings with an election of overcomers in natural Israel from his time until John the Baptist, the Elijah of Malachi 3:1, introduces the Angel of the Covenant incarnate in the virgin-born Jesus of Nazareth Whom the nation will reject and murder. Hereafter true Israel is a Spiritual people drawn by election out of every tribe in Adam's race and born a second time of Jesus Christ who is Abraham's Promised Seed.
Natural "Israel has not obtained that for which he sought; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded, that through their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles to provoke Israel to jealousy" (Romans 11:7,11).
God's elective love required a kinsman born of a virgin to redeem an election from Adam's race. He would be Abraham's promised Seed (singular), and through "the sure mercies of David," of the Tribe of Judah and the House of David. That Seed is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. "Therefore as many of Adam's race as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. And if we are Christ's, then are we Abraham's seed by the new birth, and heirs according to the Promise" (Galatians 3:26-29).
Through the unbelief of nominal Christians God will call an election of natural Israel out from Egypt again. This second time "Jerusalem spiritually is called Egypt" for she is in bondage with her children because she will be ruled by the Gentiles unto the consummation for God concludes all in unbelief (Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2,8; Galatians 4:22-26; Romans 11:25-32; Isaiah 11:11). Their taskmasters are those non-Semitic, anti-Semitic so-called "Jews" who tread down Jerusalem today. Now before God turns to Israel He promised an Elijah who will restore the hearts of an election from Gentile, nominally Spiritual Israel back to the faith of their apostolic fathers (Amos 3:6-8; Malachi 4:5-6; Matthew 17:11; Acts 3:21-23).
In the great and dreadful day of the Lord, God will purge the righteous among the wicked in natural Israel, fulfilling Daniel's Seventieth Week, for since Calvary, the only Israel God recognises as His Own is Spiritual Israel born of Abraham's Promised Seed, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus explains this in Revelation 12. "So all Israel shall be saved" -- (all 144,000 elect Israelites who are baptized into Abraham's Royal Seed) -- "as it is written, 'There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob'" (Romans 9:6; 11:26; Revelation 7:1-8; 14:1-5).
Malachi 3:13-4:6, "You have spoken boldly against Me, says the Lord. Yet you say, 'What have we said against You'?"
"You have said, It is useless to serve God: and what profit is it if we keep His ordinances and sorrow for our sins before the Lord as if we wore sackcloth and ashes? From now on, as far as we are concerned, 'Blessed are the proud and arrogant: for they who do evil shall prosper, and they who test God go unpunished'."
"Then those who feared the Lord spoke sweetly to one another of His righteousness: and the Lord listened and a Book of Remembrance was written of those who reverenced and feared the Lord, and loved to meditate on His Name. 'They shall be Mine', says the Lord, in the day when I make up my peculiar treasure; and I will spare them, as a man spares an obedient and dutiful son. When you return to God and are converted you will discern the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. For the day of judgment comes, that shall burn as a furnace; and all the proud and arrogant, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble: like a tree they shall be consumed leaving them neither root nor branch."
"As for you who fear My Name the Sun of righteousness shall arise with beams of healing like wings; and you shall go free with joy, leaping like calves let out to pasture. And you shall tread upon the wicked as ashes underfoot in the day that I shall do this, says the Lord of hosts. Earnestly remember the Laws I gave all Israel through Moses My servant on Horeb, with the statutes and judgments".
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the Coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children back to the faith of their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse" (i.e. 'cherem').
Here God was warning Israel through His prophet Malachi to repent of their imprudent and impudent murmurings against Him. Natural Israel's repentance will take place after the end of the Gentile dispensation and only among 144,000 elect whose spiritual blindness will be healed in the midst of Daniel's Seventieth Week during the great and dreadful day of "the God of judgment".
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, Christendom existed for 1494 years before the term 'Judaism' was coined in English, yet Judaeo-Christians assign this name to the ancient Israelite religion of Jehovah. Jesus honored the Law and the Prophets; Paul said "the Law is Spiritual" (Matthew 5:17-20; Romans 7:14). Jesus abhorred and denounced the form of religious worship practiced in Judea in His lifetime and which is known and practiced today under its new name 'Judaism.' That religious belief was then known as 'Pharisaism.' The clergy learned that in their theological seminary days but they have never made any attempt to make that clear to their congregations.
The traditions of Judaism were acquired from Babylon but their original transmission point was Egypt. The Kabbalah is a collection of books of black magic and rank superstitions (prohibited by the Law and the prophets) that claims, like the Talmud (which nullifies and ultimately replaces the Bible), to have been given to Moses on Mount Sinai. Such gnostic components of Judaism pertain to self-worship. And according to Rabbi S.R. Hirsch, unlike the rest of mankind, the "Jew" alone is imbued with the metaphysical qualities necessary for fulfilling divine destiny, and only those who are trained in the secrets of Kabbalah can help bring the world to perfection and redemption (S. Raphael Hirsch, Nineteen Letters: letter twelve).
Kabbalists believe they can accomplish this goal either by destroying all evil on the earth so that it is wholly good, or by destroying all good on this earth making it thoroughly evil. But because it is immeasurably more difficult to make all things good, they have chosen the path of destroying all goodness on the earth, calling good 'evil,' and evil 'good' (Isaiah 5:20; Malachi 2:17; 3:14-15). Hence the rabbis refer to their tribe as 'the destroyers' (Maurice Samuels, You Gentiles, p. 155).
Kabbalah is also the source of Judaeo-Masonic inspiration whose stated objective, contrary to "the secret mysteries of nature and science," is to bring "Order out of Chaos".
The fruit of this perversion, which is intended by the Kabbalists to yield to them world hegemony, includes the destruction of world health, prosperity, morality, religions, peace, education, and individualism, etc., through their United Nations. To illustrate this point, "in everything that was agreed at this [UN] Children's Summit 2002, among innumerable references and appeals to the human rights standards of this Convention [on the Rights of the Child], the rights of the child before birth were avoided like the plague. . . The only restriction that the UN authorities will allow should be placed on adolescents (defined as from age 10!!!) is that they must be taught to have only "protected sex" News Weekly, June 1, 2002, p. 12, 13). . . and the United Nations' massive pedophilia scandal has not received one percent of the media attention given to the Catholic Church's homosexual priest scandal.
Meanwhile, in a US Supreme Court decision Justice Anthony Kennedy ruled that the 1996 law banning virtual child porn prohibited speech with serious literary, artistic, political and scientific value. 'Youthful sexuality is an old theme in art, from Shakespeare to Academy Award winning movies. The statute proscribes the visual depiction of an idea -- that of teenagers engaging in sexual activity -- that is a fact of modern society and has been a theme in art and literature throughout the ages' (The Arizona Republic, April 17, 2002, by Jan Crawford Greenburg - Chicago Tribune).
As Brother Branham prophesied, "The world is going insane".
The world is held to ransom by lies based upon the Kabbalah such as a claimed holocaust of six million "Jews" in World War I, and six million in World War II, global warming, climate change and the greenhouse effect, and claims that so-called "Muslim terrorists" attacked the United States on September 11, 2001. Propaganda has made evil appear 'good,' and the good who expose and rebuke these lies are called 'evil'.
In Malachi, God rebukes their assiduous habit of speaking against Himself to one another (Malachi 2:17; Ezekiel 33:20), and continuing their complaints over 2,500 years after they had actually ceased to keep His service (Isaiah 58:3-8). Mistaking the outward display of prayer and fasting, which under the Pharisees in Jesus' day had become compulsory twice a week (Luke 18:12), they had insisted on making a spectacle of "walking mournfully before God." However He required them to serve Him with gladness and to walk cheerfully before Him. By their own superstitions they had made the service of God a task and drudgery to themselves, and then complained of it as a hard service. Jesus said, "My yoke is easy, and My burden is light".
In consequence of God's apparent inattention to the claims they supposed they had upon Him as a result of their religious asceticism, these faithless sinners in Israel regarded the haughty heathens as favored by God for although they constantly put Him to the test by their sins, He had not instantly poured down His wrath upon them, and so it seemed "the wicked prosper." Prior to their conversion James and John exhibited this attitude, as did the Pharisee, Paul (Luke 9:51-56; Acts 8:1-3).
The fulfilment of these verses of Malachi's prophecy is set for the next few years. Already the once Christian Gentile churches, "having a form of godliness but denying the revelation which is the power thereof," have joined the Israelites in their apostasy.
Yet a remnant in the faith, against hope, believe in hope, and love to speak of the glories of His Name. They sigh and cry for the abominations done in our Sodomite civilization, and declare His Name to whomsoever will, perchance He might pluck one as a brand from the oncoming storms of judgment (Revelation 18:8-11).
Their holy lives and exhortations one to another (Ephesians 4:12, 16; Hebrews 10:24-25) pleased God Who by His foreknowledge wrote their names in the Lambs Book of Life from the foundation of the world, as the kings of Persia had kept a record of those who had rendered services to them, that they might be suitably rewarded (Esther 6:1,2; Psalms 56:8; Isaiah 65:6). And because the Son arose from the grave, all of God's Attributes will rise to Life at that promised Sunrise signalled by the Seventh Trump (Mark 16:1-6).
These are God's elect, His "peculiar treasure" and objects of His compassion "called out of darkness into His glorious Light" (I Peter 2:9). Their names can never be removed from this Book for they are His Attributes and share His Life (Ephesians 1:14; II Thessalonians 2:14; Titus 2:14). "As a father loves and pities his children who are obedient, so the Lord pities them that fear Him" (Psalm 103:13).
Malachi 3:18, "When you turn back to God and are converted you will discern between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who serve Him not."
When the 144,000 are born-again they will shout, "Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your Name? for You only are holy: all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgments are made manifest" (Revelation 15:4). In other words, since our eyes have been opened to the revelation, we understand your justice in withholding your wrath so the murmurers might have the opportunity of repentance. Now, in the day of your wrath we realize your chastisements upon Israel were just and designed to correct the elect (Leviticus 26; Matthew 27:25).
II Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promised return in judgment as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance".
Malachi now describes the consequences of the great and dreadful day of the Lord which is a dispensation commencing at the end of the Gentile dispensation. Called in Revelation "the tribulation," and in the media 'the New World Order,' it leads to the consummation of the kingdoms of this world. It concludes with the Great White Throne Judgment and lake of Fire that follow the general resurrection. The firing of Jerusalem under Titus was an earnest of the day of the Lord in which the 144,000 elect Israelites, the foolish virgin and other classes of the saved will be purged in martyrdom, and earth will be purified for the Millennium (Matthew 3:11-12; II Peter 3:7).
John the Baptist knew he was the messenger sent to prepare the way of the Lord; and even before He had baptized Jesus he referred to Malachi 4:1, saying to the Pharisees, "Don't suppose that because you are Abraham's natural children you are heirs to God's promise to Abraham. Unless you display fruits of repentance, God will raise up children to Abraham outside your lineage. Even now the ax is cutting off the natural branches, and casting them into the fire" (Matthew 3:8-10).
"A good tree is known by bringing forth its fruit in its season, or by the teaching for the hour" (Psalm 1:3; Matthew 7:20; Luke 12:42). John rebuked the Pharisees for impersonating the Word for a day gone by, and admonished them to repent and recognize THEIR day and receive ITS Message, for the ax was already excising the names of those who had rejected the PRESENT Truth from the Book of Life.
When the wheat plant has fulfilled its life, the grain is gathered into the silo and the chaff is burned. When the church has fulfilled its function, the elect will be gathered into the Lord's garner and the church will be burned. And when Israel's 144,000 are born-again, civilization will have fulfilled its purpose. The 144,000 will be martyred by the church, and then civilization, the church and the earth will be burned (Hebrews 12:29). The atomic conflagration of Armageddon will throw earth into the blistering sun for purification before the Millennium. Lava will burst forth and renew it's surface, annihilating every trace of man's 6,000 year history.
Armageddon will not be the first nuclear war of annihilation. It was atomic warfare that precipitated the great Flood, throwing earth off its axis and away from the sun. To the wicked the day of the Lord will be as an oven that consumes the stubble after harvest (Malachi 4:1; Matthew 13:30). To the righteous it shall be the joyous advent of the "Sun of righteousness. . . healing" the 144,000 spiritually (Jeremiah 23:5-8), and changing the elect Church into glorified bodies. The Church is typed as the moon which reflects the light of the sun, and the righteous shall by His righteousness in that day "shine as the Sun in the kingdom of the Father" (Matthew 13:43; Isaiah 30:26).
Jesus Christ is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in the Light that beams forth like the outstretched wings of a bird as seen in His transfiguration before Peter, James and John. This was a preview of His second physical Coming glorified, preceded by the first resurrection and the two witnesses to Israel (Matthew 17:2). This was how Paul saw Him on the Damascus road (Acts 9:1-7), and as the evening time Light is seen in Zechariah 14:7; Matthew 24:27; 18:1; 19:17; 21:23; Revelation 1:16; 10:1; 18:1, etc.
This "healing" is our body change prior to the Wedding Supper and the Millennium when "we shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this" (Malachi 4:3). Those not raised and glorified or "healed" in the first resurrection live not again until the second resurrection (Revelation 19:20; 20:5; 10). No sinners will survive into the Millennium because Armageddon "leaves them neither root nor branch".
Malachi 4:4, "Remember the Law of Moses My servant, which I commanded him on mount Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments".
But "the Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not being the substance of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the offerers perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshipers once purged should have no more feelings of guilt." Yet "by one offering of Himself Jesus has perfected forever those who are sanctified" (Hebrews 10:1-2,14).
Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For truly, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled" (Matthew 5:17-18). Then Jesus proceeded to explain how the natural, temporal Law of Moses' Old Testament would be magnified into the substance of His Spiritual New Testament which makes the worshipers perfect, enabling us to enter the very Presence of God without condemnation.
The Law Moses delivered to Israel was the shadow cast by the coming New Testament, and Moses was himself a shadow and type of Messiah and not the very image of that Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:18-19; John 3:18). Moses said, "You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be in danger of the judgment." But Jesus magnified this Law, saying, "Whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. . ." Moses said, "You shall not commit adultery". But Jesus said, "Whosoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart".
Moses said, "Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a letter of divorce." But Jesus said, "Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, causes her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced commits adultery."
Moses said, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy, and rest (your body and mortal spirit)." But Jesus said, "Come unto Me, all that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you sabbath for your souls". Paul concurred, saying, "There remains a sabbath to the people of God. For he that has entered into his rest, has ceased from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." The sabbath for Christians is not one day but an eternal rest. And as Isaiah the prophet foretold, it can only be observed in one particular "place" Not a geographical place of rest like the Promised Land God gave to natural Israel, but a Spiritual place: the believer's position in the Body of Christ entered by the baptism with the Holy Ghost or new birth by the Word of the hour (Matthew 11:28-29; Hebrews 4:9-11; Isaiah 28:5-12; 66:1; Deuteronomy 16:5-6).
As the twelve tribes had to recognize their assigned place of rest in the Promised Land, we Christians must recognize OUR day and ITS Message outside of which we can not enter our rest. This explains why there is no possible way that one can be born-again or enter the Christian sabbath through denominational ministry today.
Jesus, the prophet like Moses, was also a Law-giver like Moses. He took the shadow that was Moses' Law which condemned men to death but could not write their pardon, and He magnified it into the substance of His perfect Law of liberty and grace. Jeremiah 31:33-34, "After those days, I will put My Law in their inward parts and write It in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord': for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more".
Read that over again my British Israel friends and you will understand how natural Israel born by sex from Abraham's seeds plural, the Patriarchs, can not inherit the Promise of Abraham which belongs to His Seed singular -- Jesus Christ, the Word. Spiritual, Supernatural Israel is born the second time by the spoken Word of their hour and become joint-heirs with Christ (Isaiah 53:10-12; Romans 8:17-19). When God returns to natural Israel, only the elect born of His Spirit will be the Israel that is redeemed.
When he admonished all Israel to "remember the Law of Moses" Malachi was prophesying of New Testament times. He did not say, "Do the Law of Moses". In Deuteronomy Moses delivered and expounded a second time to the new generation of Hebrews before they entered the Promised Land the Law of morals and religion summed up in Ten Commandments on two tables of stone, the ceremonial "statutes," and the "judgments" in civil questions that would arise once Israel was settled in the Land.
The statutes requiring Israel to observe the sabbath, feast of Unleavened Bread and Passover, feast of Pentecost, Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles were all natural shadows and types of Spiritual antitypes. The sabbath day typed our new birth which is an eternal sabbath; the Passover typed Calvary and is fulfilled: there is no such festival as Easter in the Christian calendar. The feast of Unleavened Bread represented the pure Word of God held and understood by the apostolic saints in the first few years of the Gentile dispensation which is typed by the feast of Pentecost. Its seven sabbaths or rests type the seven baptisms of the Holy Spirit that conceived the saints of the Seven Church Ages as God built the Body "line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little." We live in the fiftieth day or holy convocation following the Church Ages. Hence we do no servile work nor presume to interpret God's Word, for the revelation of the Seven Seals gave us the perfect interpretation of the Bible (Acts 3:21; I Corinthians 13:10; Revelation 10:7; 19:7-9).
The feast of Trumpets type the ministry of the two witnesses to Israel who will expound the Seven Trumpet judgments of Revelation to the 144,000 during Daniel's Seventieth Week. The Day of Atonement represents their new birth and martyrdom, whilst the feast of Tabernacles type the six days of a thousand years in which man has labored against sin, the seventh day which is the millennium, and the eighth day which is eternity.
"The letter of the Law killeth, but the Spirit of the Law brings Life and peace." The natural Law, statutes and judgments God commanded Israel by the hand of Moses were shadows and types that were done away and nailed to the cross of Jesus Who magnified the Law and revealed the substance through His prophet Paul.
Malachi 4:5-6 foretold a second delivery of the Gospel by "Elijah the prophet," not the Tishbite, but William Branham whose ministry is the antitype of Deuteronomy. It restored the Church to the faith once delivered to the apostolic saints, rehearsing the true history of the Christian Church, finishing the mystery of God by revealing the Seven Seals to the new generation of saints who would enter the eternal Land of the Millennium without death. He gave strict orders not to walk in the ways of their Pentecostal fathers who enter the Presence by a door marked "Death," or to become contaminated with their idols, or Trinities and creeds.
Before the Commandments were delivered God, appeared in the Pillar of Fire on Mount Sinai and spoke in an audible voice heard by all the people. vindicating His prophet Moses. The same Pillar of Fire appeared to Paul and his companions on the road to Damascus, and God spoke in an audible voice to Paul (who wrote the New Testament). And before the Seven Seals were revealed to Brother Branham, the Pillar of Fire appeared before all of the people and the unchanging God spoke from heaven in an audible voice, vindicating His prophet, "As John the Baptist fore ran My first Coming, your Message will fore run My second Coming".
God endues five different men with the portion of the Spirit with which He anointed Elijah. He anointed Elishah with a double portion of the same Spirit, and Elishah performed twice as many miracles as Elijah. Next He anointed "John the Baptist who went before Messiah in the Spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:16-17). Then in our day there was William Branham, and a Hebrew "Elijah" will minister to Israel with a "Moses" during the tribulation.
When the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Are you Elijah"? He answered, "I am not."
John knew precisely who he was and the office of his calling so he said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord." John was the Elijah of Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1 announcing Messiah's first Coming, born of a virgin. The religious headquarters (which remained in Babylon from the Captivity until about AD1200) had trained the Israelitish priesthood to look for a warrior Messiah Who would expel the Romans and restore the kingdom to Israel neglecting the Atonement that demanded a Kinsman Redeemer.
Natural Israel was God's disobedient servant nation, not "children" born of His Spirit. "The fathers" in John's lifetime were twelve Patriarchs who had been dead for 1,700 years, so there could be no "turning their heart." John's ministry resulted in the fulfilment of this Scripture after his death when the heart of the apostolic fathers turned to elect Hebrews and Gentiles and who, being born-again, became the "children" of God (I John 3:1-2).
Two thousand years have passed since John. "The great and dreadful day of the Lord" is still in the future; the earth has not burnt-up with a fervent heat, nor have the righteous walked out in the Millennium over the ashes of the wicked. Clearly John was not the Elijah whose ministry would "turn (or restore) the heart of the children to their fathers." Had this been John, His ministry would have denied the Law of Moses which was delivered four hundred years after the Fathers, and the denied the One he was called to introduce.
Long after John had been beheaded Jesus and Peter promised "this Elijah will surely come before the first resurrection and restore all things spoken by the mouth of all God's holy prophets since the world began" (Matthew 17:1-12; Acts 3:21-23). Jesus identified John as an earlier Elijah (Matthew 11:7-19; Luke 1:76-80). William Branham was the Elijah who fulfilled this Scripture. Christ revealed the Seven Seals through his ministry, restoring the heart of the children to their apostolic fathers, calling them out from Rome and her (once) Protestant daughter churches into maturity in the unity of the faith for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation.
God will smite the earth with a curse, or 'cherem,' the fearful term applied by God to the extermination of the descendants of Cain. Judea has long labored under this ban as have the Gentile churches who love not the Lord Jesus NOW (I Corinthians 16:22; Revelation 3:17-20). If God spared not the natural Israelite branches, how much less will He spare the unbelieving Gentile professors (Romans 11:20-21). But before He pours out His fierce wrath, Christ's Bride will have been taken from the earth to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the sky. nl232.htm
